Suppose you win $10 million in the lottery, but there’s a catch: you have to donate half of the money to charity. What charity would you choose? What would you do with the money you got to keep?
My charity would be the local humane society. I love animals, but I can’t make myself go to the humane society, because I know I would want to adopt all the animals that are there. I think it’s important to support animal charities; so many homeless animals are euthanized simply because local shelters don’t have the funds to keep them. I can’t think about it or I’ll get all upset.
That’s my cat Lyndie (above) who might have had to have gone to a shelter if I hadn’t adopted her. You can see that she’s very pleased.
I’m sure the money I kept would be gone in short order, as I would pack my bags and move to London. It’s my favorite city in the world, but it’s also a really expensive place to live. Pretty soon I would have a fake British accent (like Madonna) and I’d drink tea in the afternoons and ride lifts instead of elevators and jumpers instead of sweaters and when I call my family on the phone I’d say, “Cheers!” and when some little whippersnapper mugs me, I’ll be all: “Oi!”
sigh That’s a good story.

If I won $10 million in the lottery I would donate the required portion to St. Jude Research Center. I would donate to them to help out the little kids and find the cure for cancer.
With the rest of the money I would go to college to be a programmer, then use the rest to create a video game company. I would then start to make even more money then I won in the lottery and I would continue to donate at least a little bit to St. Jude.

If I won $10 million, I would donate half to St. Jude’s Research Company. Every year they help hundreds of families dealing with the burden of cancer in a loved one. They accept any children with cancer even if the family can’t afford it. And they do their best to try and find a cure for cancer.
For the rest of the money, I would set up a college fund for my sister and I. Along with buying or building my parents a house of their choice. The rest of the money left over would go into a savings account for later use.

Ok $10 million dollars, I’m not sure what charity i would donate to maybe several different ones. With my portion of the money i would most definetely leave munford i think i would finish school though. I would go to paris because that is a place that i have been wanting to go to for a while. I would also get a whole new wardrobe and a anew house. I would of course share my portion with my family i am selfish but not that selfish. all of the “relatives” that i never seen before wont get anything. If i had $5million thats as good as it gets life will be set.

If I won 10 mil from the lottery I would give half to children’s education, something like Save The Music. I think it is important that kids have oppurtunities.
As for the rest, I would just keep for keepsies because there really isn’t anything I want that I haven’t got (as I may have said before).
…okay maybe I’d throw a party or save it for college.
…or go to a My Chemical Romance or concert somewhere rediculous.

If I won 10 million dollars, I would donate half of it to cancer research. The other half, I would save it for college, buy a bigger house, or just spent it on random things (movies, books, or television series on dvd).

Half of the money would go to Heart to Heart/Confidential Care for Women. It is a christian chrises pregnancy center. They also teach kids our age the many dangers of premarital sex. They also strive to get pregnent girls to have the baby instead of an abortion. This is also known as being pro-life. If you have ever heard anything of an abortion, you would to. Not only is it taking another life, it has a high risk of killing the mother. Plus, if the mother doesn’t die, then she will have to live with the guilt the rest of her life. Tennessee is one of the most liberal states in this country, especially when it comes to abortion. The latest you can kill the child is before the head is pulled out of the womb. When it comes to that point, the snip the back of the baby’s neck and suck out the brain. Before the baby is that big, they would use a certain chemical that burns the baby away. Yes, when you put abortion that way, it does sound very evil. None of the staff at Heart to Heart has ever had a complaint of having the baby. Heart to Heart also helps those that have had the baby in case they have any trouble.
I would then tithe, or give ten percent(1 million dollars) to the church i attend. Otherwise, it would come back to get me.
Then, of whatever money is left after taxes, I would put about 3 million away for during and after college. Then my parents would get 1/2 and I would take 1/2 of what’s left.

If I won 10 Million dollars, I would donate half of it to the Ronald Mc Donald house. Parents who have children in the hospital all the time have a hard time with cash flow. Sometimes they don’t have a place to stay while their child is having an operation.
With the rest of the money, I would buy a comfortable house on 100 acres, a car, and save the rest of it until I find something else to do with it.
