You have just been elected president of the United States of America. You must address foreign policy, terrorism, healthcare, the military, the economy, education, the environment, and much more. What are the first three things you will do? Which issues are dearest to your heart? Do you think those issues overlap with the issues that are most important to the American public?

Since it’s election season, I’ve actually been thinking a lot about what I would do as President of the U.S. Assuming that my Congress agrees with every single thing I say, here are some things I’d like to do:
1. Overhaul the Department of Education.
Obviously, this is an issue that is very close to me. And, in my opinion, there is not a person in the current administration who knows what goes on in schools; frankly, I doubt that any of the people in the Dept. of Ed. have ever taught in a school, and yet they are making rules that affect me on a daily basis. Dumb rules, too.
I’d toss everybody out and then staff it with competent teachers who know what they’re doing, and I’d make it a rule that every staff member (including the Secretary of the Department) has to teach for a year, every three years. That way they would think twice before they started making up asinine laws to govern the public school system.
2. I’d legalize those illegal immigrants. Then I’d tax the bejeezus out of them. I don’t mind that people want to come to our country. I mind that my tax dollars are paying for their educations, child welfare, and medical care when they aren’t paying for a darn thing. So I would say to them, “Why, yes, you CAN be a citizen in this country, and you get all the benefits that come along with that. P.S. SAY HELLO TO FICA.”
3. Somehow, some way, we have got to settle the situation in Iraq. I go back and forth on this. On the days when it’s relatively quiet, I think, “Let’s just move our troops out of there and leave them alone.” Then on the days when there are massive car bombings and some idiot claiming responsibility for the deaths of the American heathens, I think, “Give me a couple of nuclear bombs, and I will show you what it is to suffer.”
I don’t think the situation will ever be resolved, and I’m not sure it’s worth it to keep our troops in constant danger when there’s no end in sight.
Also, this is something that becomes more personal to me each year, because I see my students enlisting in the military, and I never EVER want to see their names on the casualty list. I dread that.
Those are my three most important issues, although of course I would have to spend a massive amount of time on the Make My Birthday a National Holiday Bill.

First I would talk about terrorism becaues they were wrong for bombing us so we got to get them back. The next one will be is healthcare becaues all the old poeple are dieding becaues they do not have no healthcare to help them out.The third thing I will talk about is the military we need to let them people take a break.Stop peolpe taking money from the economy.Edu we need to help the kids.We need to clean the environment and stop thorwing things on the ground.

My first concern would be the war on terrorism seen as though i was elected the public would understand that Bush was over there for illigitement causes the second would have to be bring back the troops from over seas there dying for causes that will bring more death than needed then i will talk about the enviorment i think that we as a society need to take better care of our enviorment

My first concern would be whipping our government into shape (maybe literally). There are too many backstabbing politicians that sit on their high ends just collecting money. I believe that that is wrong. I would also decrease my salary. (the president gets too much) I also believe that our government has too much power, and makes unnecessary laws at times. The government should fear the people, not the people fear the government. I believe that the common person should have more of an opinion when it comes to making laws and such.
Secondly, I would cut taxes. Seriously, it should only be ten percent or less. We wouldn’t need so much money to run this country if we would stop funding things that are a bit unnecessary or ridiculous.
Finally, I would bring back our troops because if you ask me, everything going on in Iraq is their business. LEAVE THEM ALONE. America has always tended to get into a situation that they didn’t have to be in. But, instead they put their nose in it. (Does anyone think logically anymore?)

As president of the United States, the first thing I would do is kick George W. Bush right in the *cough cough*, well you know, with a steel toed boot and put it on national television (or at least youtube) because he is a complete idiot and his dog could probably do a better job as president(vote for Fluffy).
Next, i would make some appointments with other world leaders to help do everything possible about terrorism because terrorism is not just a national issue, it is a threat to the world.
The third thing I would do as president is do everything necessary to bring our troops home because they are dying needlessly because the country of Iraq didn’t even have anything to do with 9/11. We were supposed to be searching for bin Laden. The person that we currently call the president completely trashed the plan to get the man back that bombed us.

1. I would make abortions illegal. Such an action is a vile evil thing. Those who do .along with the doctor. would be tried with murder in the first degree.
2. I would set the system to where only those who have worked for their retirement, social security, and 401k get it. No more bums sitting around all day collecting well fare, stealing it from those who have worked hard all their lives. Its just plain stupid.
3. I would resign after such demands are met and can’t be changed or revoked. (I hate politics, bunch of lying hypocrites)

first i would address the issue of terrorism. as the leader of the united states it would be my responsibility to ensure the safety of all americans. next, i would devise a healthcare plan that left no american uncovered. and last i would try to improve the ecomony, because that would help improve many of the smaller issues of the world.

Of course the first thing that popped up in my head is this situation with Iraq. This situation that isn’t-wasn’t- much out problem until someone just had to butt in. I would just send the troups home, ours, that is of course.
I would stress recylcing and simple things (like unplugging appliances when they’re OFF, computers alone can be resposible for 40% of ) that would help out with this globalwarming. Imagine a mostly ecofriendly US. not so many people would hate us for that reason.
I want to say someting that the other students have not brought up, but I can’t think of one right now (THOUGH THERE ARE MANY, I know), so I guess I would lower our taxes. I am not completey sure, but I heard that our gov takes about up to 60% of our income for taxes (if you include ALL kinds, even when you buy some erasers at walmart kind). I guess I would spend sometime on that one.
I would also spend A LOT of my time in office listening to the people.
Because how we feel about our government influences so much like our art to the joles they make about our pres. on MAd Tv.
Then I would spend A LOT of time fixing the problems.
It’s no help listening if I just sit there like that for four years.
Really, that’s how to make such an important job simple.

1. I would sit all the people in our country that can’t speak English is a mandatory language class. I mean if you want to live here, you can speak our language. It makes me angry when there is English on something and then they have it in Spanish.
2. I would make every school have 30 minutes (daily) for recess to fight obesity in our youth. I will put Richard Simmons in charge of this.
3. I will kick the Mayor of Memphis out of office and put someone in who is actually capable of doing their job.

My first concern would be cleaning up Bush’s mess. I would get the troops out of Iraq, because seriously what is the point of us wondering around there aimlessly dying. The second thing I would do would permantly kick George Bush out of the Country( apparently you can tell I really don’t like him.) After all that I would make sure that health insurance would be able to be given to every child under the age of 18 buy making the whealthy pay more taxes and try to lower everyone elses. The last thing I would do as president is make the hours of school less, and I would get rid of “The no child left behind act.”

The first thing I would do as presadent is to make sure that things get settled in Iraq, because if we don’t we will just have to go back in another time. Another thing I would do was set up some new polices for food stamped. The way it set up now is if an african American person walks in they get abroved nomater what. Also some of the peolpe you get food stamps don’t even need them. My third act would be to clean up the city schools so the city children have a safe place to go to school.

Alright the first thing i would do if i was presadent, is i would get all the people who are in Iraq to coem home cause i think that its bad that there over there, for only oil. Next i would maybe mit get rid of the schools forever or just make it alot shorter for us. Last thing i would do is make sure that all the schools in the world were alot better and there well be more schools added to place’s were kids had no schools at.

The First thing I would do as president is take care of the homeless children population. There are thousands of homeless children in America and I would like them to live in a house and eat well enough to not be in pain. It’s not their fault for not having money for food and shelter.
Secondly, I would address the growing problem of inflation in America. This is one reason why the American dollar keeps losing its value and why it is more expensive to visit other countries.
Finally, I would resign because I’m not fit to be president and no matter what you do as president there is always a good percentage of Americans who hate you.

First would probably adress terrorism first because there may be some in my time as president. If i could find out who was a terrorist it wouldn’t be so extreme. Next would be health issues since we got rid of all the terrorist it is time to cure diseases. Then i would fund ideas for anyone i think has a profitable business plan because everyone deserves a shot. And finally i dont believe i would be a good president so i would probably hand the presidency to someone else who is mor qualified.

first i would address the issue on terror because the country is in enough trouble without the terrorism. then i would address the economy because the problem with money is one the major problems in this country
